EXCLUSIVE: Manisha Koirala calls Shah Rukh Khan ‘the biggest star,’ reveals wanting a career graph like Aamir Khan

Actress Manisha Koirala is currently riding high on the success Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is receiving. The actress – who earlier won the hearts of millions with films like Saudagar, 1942: A Love Story and Khamoshi: The Musical, Dil Se.., is impressing audiences across the globe as Malikajaan, the chief courtesan of Heeramandi.

During an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Manisha Koirala got candid about many things, including the 3 Khans of Bollywood – Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, as well as Govinda. Scroll below to know all she had to say about them.

Manisha Koirala on the 3 Khans of Bollywood

Talking about working with all 3 Khans – Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, Manisha Koirala says, “Common toh mujhe kuch nahi lagta. Kafi time ho gaya hai toh main woh (comparision) nahi kar paungi hala ki woh alag alag hai. Alag alag kisam ke insaan hai.”(There is nothing common between the three Khans of Bollywood.)” Talking about King Khan, she said, “Shah Rukh I feel is the biggest star and I also feel he’s a bit philosophical – woh side dhikhta nahi hai, lekin hai unke andar. (You rarely get to see the philosophical side of SRK).”

Praising the ‘Tiger 3’ star for having a golden heart, the ‘Heeramandi’ actress said, “Salman ne joh Being Human khola hai, kafi madad karta hai gareeb aur jisko zarorat hai. Mujhe malum hai kafi cancer patients ko unhone madad kiya hai aur doctors ko bolte hai ki mera naam mat lo ki maine inki mere taraf se (help) jaa raha hai. (Salman Khan, via his Being Human foundation, has helped many poor and needy. I know he had contributed towards the treatment of several cancer patients and asked the doctors not to disclose his identity.) “

Talking about the ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ actor, Manisha Koirala added, “Aamir Khan… Main jab cancer ke baad wapis films karne lagi toh meri wish thi main Aamir Khan jaise – jaise unka last 10-15 ka career raha, waise mera graph ho as an actor. (When I returned to acting recovering from cancer, I envisioned having a career like Aamir Khan. Selected films but all different from each other.)”

Manisha praises Govinda

Talking about Govinda, she said, “Woh aise kalaakar hai , woh itne unda kalaakar hai… Kya star hai. Main unke saath 2-3 films kar chuki hu. Unke rag-rag mein kala hai. Dance hai. Har ek cheez mein… Unke jaisa aaj koi dance karke dhikhaye toh main maan jao. Dance off kare, par aankh Govinda ke upar hi rahega. He’s that good. I wish to see him in more films. (He is an amazing actor and entertainer. Acting/talent is in his blood. There is no one who can dance like him, even today. Have a stand-off between the best dancer and Govinda, your eyes will be on him only.)“
